Orchard Road retail rents rise in 2025 as prime occupancy stays high

It noted a return to modest growth after several years of flat rents, driven by more than 98% prime occupancy in Tier-1 malls.

Retail rents along Orchard Road rose 2% YoY in 2025, reaching $624.8 (US$478) per square foot annually, or about $51 per square foot monthly, according to Cushman & Wakefield.

This places Orchard Road at 13th globally and 12th in Asia-Pacific among 50 retail corridors tracked.

The report noted a return to modest growth after several years of flat rents, driven by more than 98% prime occupancy in Tier-1 malls and intensifying competition for space.

Orchard Road continues to attract top global brands looking to anchor their Asia entry points and leverage Singapore as a regional launchpad.
