MAS to hold third FinTech Festival from 12 to 16 November

It will bring back its FinTech Deal Day and open its platform to more ASEAN startups.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) will hold the third edition of the Singapore FinTech Festival from 12 to 16 November 2018.

According to an announcement, two new elements in the festival include an ASEAN FinTech Showcase, which will highlight FinTech developments and opportunities in ASEAN and a showcase of innovative solutions from ASEAN countries.

There will also be an Artificial Intelligence in Finance Summit, which will explore emerging AI solutions in trading, investment management, customer service, and risk management. It will also include discussions on quantum computing as well as governance and ethics in the application of AI.

MAS said it will bring back its three-day FinTech conference and exhibition, along with the FinTech Awards. MAS will also return the FInTech Investor Summit, which will now include a FinTech Deal Day and MATCH for ASEAN startups.

The festival will also bring back its Global FinTech Hackcelerator, which will cover Financial Inclusion, InsurTech, RegTech/SupTech, and General areas. A two-day Innovation Lab Crawl will also allow visitors to spend more time at the labs across over 20 financial institutions.

Last year, the festival drew more than 30,000 participants from over 100 countries, comprising fintech players, technopreneurs, policymakers, financial industry leaders, investors including private equity players and venture capitalists, and academics. More than 5,000 companies were represented at the festival last year.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
