Non-HDB households with at least two cars outnumber HDB counterparts
About 46,000 non-HBD households own at least two cars, against 20,000 for HDB households.
The number of non-HDB households that own at least two or three cars is greater than their HDB counterparts, data from Acting Minister for Transport Jeffrey Siow showed.
There are 46,000 non-HBD households that own at least two cars, versus 20,000 for HDB households, whilst 9,000 non-HBD households own at least three cars, compared to 2,000 for HDB houses.
There are 274,000 HDB households that own one car, versus 207,000 for non-HDB ones.
