Number of services sector establishments up 6.8%

SingStat has released data in The Services Sector report as part of the Economic Survey Series, including the 11.1% rise in Total operating receipts to $1,705.2 billion.

The survey showed 1,282,700 worked in 2008 in the services sector covering 148,601 establishments, compared to only 139,203 in 2007.
