Singapore to host WEF Special Annual Meeting 2021

The annual meeting will return to Davos-Klosters, Switzerland in 2022.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) will hold the Special Annual Meeting 2021 in Singapore from 13 to 16 May 2021, the forum announced in a press release on 8 December.

The in-person meeting in 2021 will be the first global leadership event to discuss worldwide recovery from the ongoing pandemic.

The location change highlights the forum’s objective to put the health and safety of the participants and the host community first.

“The Special Annual Meeting 2021 will be a place for leaders from business, government and civil society to meet in person for the first time since the start of the global pandemic,” said WEF founder and executive chairman Klaus Schwab. “Public-private cooperation is needed more than ever to rebuild trust and address the fault lines that emerged in 2020.”

The meeting’s location will return to Davos-Klosters, Switzerland in 2022.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
