Concord New Energy output up 16.9% in January

Attributable solar output fell 4.47% to 90.41 GW.

Concord New Energy Group Limited reported a 16.87% YoY increase in attributable power generation for January 2026, driven by higher wind output.

The renewable energy producer said total attributable generation reached 876.83 gigawatt-hours (GWh) in January, compared with 750.25 GWh in the same month last year.

Wind power remained the group’s main contributor, with attributable output rising 19.95% YoY to 786.42 GWh, up from 655.61 GWh in January 2025.

By contrast, solar power generation declined. Attributable solar output fell 4.47% to 90.41 GWh, compared with 94.64 GWh a year earlier.
