Rex International CFO Per Lind steps up as CEO after Lidgren exits

After leading Rex since 2013 listing, Måns Lidgren moves to advisory role for health reasons.

Rex International Holding Limited has appointed Per Lind as CEO, effective 19 March following the departure of Måns Lidgren, who stepped down for health reasons, the company said.

Mr Lind, previously the company’s CFO since May 2014, has overseen the group’s finance, legal, administration, and structural matters.

He has also contributed to business development and served on the boards of several subsidiaries, including Jasmine Energy Ltd, Rex Oman Ltd, and Rex International Investments Pte. Ltd.

Lidgren, CEO since Rex International Holding’s 2013 listing on the Singapore Exchange, will remain with the company as a part-time Senior Advisor to support Lind during the transition, the company added.

Before joining Rex, Lind held senior positions at Tangerine Time, AEP Investment Management, and 1st Software Corporation Ltd in Singapore, and worked with Merchant Venture Investments in London and Singapore.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
