AXA Insurance launches new prenatal plan

It covers early caesarean deliveries and grants newborns with health insurance cover.

AXA Insurance has launched a single premium three-year prenatal plan, which covers early caesarean deliveries and grants a free first-year health insurance cover for the newborn without medical underwriting.

AXA EmpoweredMum provides mothers with 15% of the sum assured for a caesarean delivery at less than 36 weeks of gestation, in addition to 100% of the sum assured if the mother and child are diagnosed with any of the 15 pregnancy complications and 26 congenital illnesses covered, respectively.

Moreover, both the mother and child will receive 2% of the sum assured per day of hospitalisation due to any of the covered hospitalisation events for up to 30 days, and 100% of the sum assured in the unfortunate event of death.

In the event of diagnosis of developmental delay in gross motor or speech development of the child, 15% of the sum assured (up to S$3,000) will be provided.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
