SFA, Workforce Singapore launch FinTech Talent Programme
It is the first career conversion programme in the industry.
Workforce Singapore (WSG) and Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) have launched FinTech Talent Programme (FTP), the first attach-and-train Career Conversion Programme (CCP) in the industry.
FTP aims to develop an industry pipeline of capabilities in key technology roles within the FinTech industry by re-skilling mid-career individuals.
The nine months-long programme will operate under WSG’s attach-and-train CCP.
Programme participants will be provided structured training and work attachments before job placement with participating companies.
They will also be equipped with the fundamentals of Python programming, software testing, and Scrum and quality assurance.
Ngee Ann Polytechnic will serve as a training partner of the programme, whilst Tribe will support the recruitment and management of eligible candidates.
Ten FinTech companies, including NETS and YouTrip, have also pledged their support to tap into this programme to onboard mid-career individuals as part of their manpower plans.
