Singapore is the world's 6th billionaire-filled city

37 billionaires reside in Singapore.

Singapore is ranked 6th in the world in terms of billionnaire population, according to Wealth-X Billionaire Census 2015-2016.

With a total of 37 billionaires, Singapore trails behind New York (97), Hong Kong (79), Moscow (37), London (68), and Beijing (38).

According to Wealth-X, the number of billionaires in the world has increased further to 2,473 in total with combined wealth amounting to US$7.7t.

Asian countries account for 26.1% of world's billionaire population or 645 in value terms.

Other Asian cities which made it in the top 15 are Mumbai at ranked 10th (31) and Shenzhen at 13th place (24).
