BreadTalk Group buys out Thai partner

BreadTalk has planned to buy out its joint venture partner in Thailand for $7m.

BreadTalk Group announced that they entered into a share purchase agreement with The Minor Food Group for the acquisition of the latter’s 50% interest.

BreadTalk has planned to buy out its joint venture partner in Thailand, Minor Food Group, for $7m. BreadTalk valued the entire company at $9.3m, but noted there was no open market value as the Target Company is not publicly traded.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, as one of the relative figures is negative, the Company is concurrently consulting with the SGX-ST on the Proposed Acquisition.
