The acquisition is aimed to accelerate Koufu’s diversification of its business network.

Food court and coffee shops operator Koufu has acquired fried food and dough products manufacturer Deli Asia for $22m, a press release confirmed. The take-over will enable Koufu to fast track its revenue diversification and network expansion, the company said. Koufu is also planning to enhance their supply chain security with this acquisition.

Deli Asia is one of Singapore’s largest manufacturers of fried food and dough products, supplying frozen and partial fried food products to F&B businesses. It has 60 franchised stalls under its Delisnacks brand.

One of Deli Asia’s subsidiaries, the Dough Culture, currently has 7 retail kiosks which Koufu plans to increase to 20 in the next five years.
