No Signboard to bring Korean fried chicken to Singapore and Malaysia

Its first Mom’s Touch franchise will open on 2 January 2019.

No Signboard inked deal with Korea-headquartered Haimarrow Food Service and US firm HFS global to develop and operate Korean chicken and burger chain Mom’s Touch in Singapore and Malaysia, an announcement revealed.

Through the master franchise agreement, No Signboard is allowed to open Mom’s Touch restaurants in the neighbouring states for a period of 10 years from the date of the launch of its first Mom’s Touch franchise restaurant on 2 January 2019. From there, No Signboard will have the option to apply franchise renewal for another 10 years.

According to an announcement, the firm’s eyes to launch eight Mom’s Touch restaurants in Singapore and Malaysia within the first three years of the deal.

In June, No Signboard launched its hawker-themed burger chains and went into an agreement to operate China's hot pot restaurant Little Sheep.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
