CGH, South East CDC unveil programme for expanded community care

The initiative aims to improve health literacy.

Changi General Hospital (CGH) and South East Community Development Council have announced an expansion of their community care network under the Neighbours for Active Living Programme.

The initiative, now known as ‘Circle of Care @ South East’, aims to improve health literacy and support more residents in managing their well-being within their communities.

As part of the expansion, CGH plans to scale up volunteer training through a ‘train-the-trainer’ approach for knowledge transfer and community engagement.

Volunteers will be trained as ‘Community Health Champions’, focusing on diet and nutrition, exercise, and mental wellness.
