Thomson Medical issues $155m notes at 5.25%

These will be listed on the SGX on 14 May 2024.

Thomson Medical Group Limited announced that it has issued $155m worth of notes due in 2027 with 5.25% interest annually.

According to a bourse filing, the company said the series 004 notes were issued pursuant to the $1b Multicurrency Debt Issuance Programme established on 28 June 2019 and updated on 21 April 2023.

DBS Bank Ltd. has been tapped as the sole global coordinator and DBS Bank Ltd., Maybank Securities Pte. Ltd., Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited, UBS AG Singapore Branch and United Overseas Bank Limited have been appointed as the joint lead managers and joint bookrunners.

“Approval in-principle has been received from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited for the listing and quotation of the Series 004 Notes on the SGX-ST,” Thomson Medical said. 

Earlier, Thomson Medical announced that it will issue $140m worth of notes, which was later on increased by $15m.

The company has said that proceeds from the issuance will be used for refinancing of existing borrowings and general working capital of the group.
