ISCA reshuffles council with new appointments, reappointments

It also plans to invest up to $7m in the SCAQ Programme and global expansion in 2025.

The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) has added four new members to its Council, reappointed four current ones, and named two additional members.

The newly elected, re-elected, and newly appointed council members will serve for a term of two years until 2027.

The newly elected council members are Ang Suat Ching, CFO at Resorts World at Sentosa Pte Ltd; Chin Chee Choon, audit and assurance partner and head of business development and marcomm at Forvis Mazars LLP Singapore; Lee Eng Kian, managing partner at PKF-CAP LLP; and Gajendran S/O Vyapuri, assurance partner and professional practice director at EY LLP.

Meanwhile, the re-elected council members are: Lo Mun Wai, audit partner at KPMG LLP; Judy Ng, group financial controller at DBS Bank; Cyndi Pei, CFO at Digital InfraCo Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singtel); and Song Yeow Chung, CFO at Old Chang Kee Ltd.

In addition, two new members have been appointed to the council: Esther Wee, accountant-general and chief of government finance at the Accountant-General’s Department (AGD), and Tan Boon Gin, CEO at Singapore Exchange Regulation, SGX Group.

In 2025, ISCA is poised to invest up to $7m in enhancements to the SCAQ as well as international growth and expansion, as part of longer-term growth plans for the Institute.

To support this, the Institute announced its plan to acquire a second property with a value of around $55m for the purposes of investment and boosting ISCA’s financial health.
