NVPC, ESSEC join hands to host corporate volunteering programme in 2025

The programme will involve over 500 ESSEC students and staff.

Over 500 students, alumni, and staff members from ESSEC Business School will commit 2,000 service- and skill-based volunteering hours to help local charities with business challenges, including fundraising and talent retention.

This initiative follows a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) and ESSEC Business School, in commemoration of the school’s 20th anniversary next year.

The volunteering programme will be conducted in two phases, with the service-based volunteering commencing in Phase 1, and the skill-based volunteering in Phase 2

The initiative will help non-profit organisations such as FaithActs, which operates SG Cares Volunteer Centre @ Queenstown through volunteering programmes.

In addition, the ESSEC-NVPC joint study aims to provide organizations with practical insights to enhance the impact and sustainability of their corporate volunteering projects.

“By collaborating with institutes of higher learning such as ESSEC, we are nurturing the next generation of leaders who embrace a culture of purpose-driven business excellence, and fostering a deeper commitment to societal contributions among our business leaders of tomorrow,” Tony Soh, CEO of NVPC said.
