ENOVAX's Quick Tix system wins at the SBR National Business Awards 2017

It is a pioneering system in Singapore.

IT company ENOVAX Pte. Ltd. won the IT Services category at the Singapore Business Review National Business Awards 2017, for its work in developing an efficient ticketing system.

The company provides integrated information technology solutions for business communities, and it fully developed the “Quick Tix” system for Golden Village cinema in Singapore. It is the first local cinema in Singapore and one of the first in Asia to implement this system, which was conceptualised for quick cinema admission for moviegoers.

Patrons are only required to present their tickets with the QR Code or digital tickets on their mobile phone/iPad at the Quick Tix podium to validate their tickets. No redemption at ticket counter and checking or validating tickets is required, thus saving manpower for Golden Village cinema.

As a result of this technology, Golden Village cinema was able to simplify its ticket selling process and cut manpower costs. The implementation of the “Quick Tix” system significantly improved Golden Village cinema’s level of operational efficiency and bottom line.

Erwin Foo accepted the award on behalf of ENOVAX.

The SBR National Business Awards was held on June 8, 2017 at the Conrad Centennial Singapore.

This year's nominations were judged by a panel consisting of Ng Jiak See, executive director and head of corporate finance advisory at Deloitte Singapore & Southeast Asia; Choo Eng Chuan, ASEAN markets leader and partner, international and corporate tax services at Ernst & Young Solutions LLP; Toh Kim Teck, assurance partner at Foo Kon Tan LLP; and Henry Tan, managing director at NEXIA TS.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
