Singaporean students are pushing institutions to advance identity intelligence measures, as 38% know someone who has been a victim of online fraud, according to a Jumio report.

The study also reveals that students are both early adopters of generative artificial intelligence, with 56% using AI to create or modify images.
Currently, 66% of Singaporean students are confident in their ability to spot a deepfake, with 56% reporting that they have seen one in the last 6 months.
Moreover, 44% feel safer using biometric verification instead of passwords for online accounts.
