CSA, Blackpanda sign MoC to enhance cybersecurity measures
The firm has previously worked with the police by exchanging cybercrime intel.
The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) has signed a memorandum of collaboration with Blackpanda, a forensics and cyber emergency response insurance firm, to enhance Singapore’s cybersecurity measures.
The agreement facilitates sharing of threat intelligence, including details on vulnerabilities, incidents, and broader cyber threats between CSA and Blackpanda, helping them respond more effectively to cyber threats.
It will also create a cybersecurity library that both entities can leverage to improve cyber threat responses. Blackpanda CEO Gene Yu noted that the partnership aims to help businesses in understanding cyberattack trends, enabling informed decisions on data privacy and cybersecurity strategies.
The memorandum includes an annual review to adapt to Singapore’s evolving cyber threat landscape. Blackpanda has previously worked with the Singapore Police Force, exchanging cybercrime intelligence for three years.
