IT consultancy Prontastic Group to open Singapore office

This is in response to the growing demand in Southeast Asia.

Information-technology consultancy firm Prontastic Group will be establishing Prontastic Singapore in response to the growing demand for cybersecurity solutions in Southeast Asia.

The company’s expansion comes as it expects the cybersecurity market in the region to reach $53.09b (US$40b) by 2024.

“I am keenly aware of how big the potential market in Southeast Asia is. With more businesses moving online and offices adopting remote working arrangements, we are seeing the demand for cybersecurity skyrocket,” CEO Nishant Kumar said.

“With the Southeast Asia’s cybersecurity market poised to reach US$40billion by 2024, I thought that it is timely for us to enter into this market and take advantage of this growing trend.”

Prontastic Group, founded in India, is partnering with Smokescreen Pte Ltd to bring cybersecurity services to the Southeast Asian Market.

The company’s key proposition is the smokescreen deception technology. Its service will complement as well as increase the effectiveness of existing cybersecurity programs.

“This means that they can further enhance their cybersecurity protection without the need to overhaul the system,” Nishant also said, noting their technology is more suited for B2B customers.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
