JTC rolls out WhatsApp ‘catbot’ for Seletar Aerospace Park visitors

This is in partnership with local startup Hidden Singapore.

JTC adopted a WhatsApp “catbot,” Void Deck Cat, which visitors can use to guide them at the Seletar Aerospace Park.

In a statement, Hidden Singapore, the local startup that built Void Deck Cat, said the catbot will provide an “immersive” trail experience to visitors within the park where they can solve puzzles, learn histories, and redeem surprise gifts from local food and beverage businesses.

“With the launch of the "Catbot", we hope to attract friends and families to explore the hidden gems within our estate and enhance community awareness on the range of offerings within Seletar Aerospace Park – from history to nature and dining options," said Eai-Sy Yap, Director of New Estates Business Development and Marketing Division, JTC.

JTC, Hidden Singapore, and businesses located within the estate partners for the Seletar Aerospace Park Game which can be played between 9 am and 7 pm daily. A game can take between one to two hours with scheduled breaks in between.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
