NUS and Vietnam’s FPT inject US$50m to advance AI-driven solutions

They will also conduct internships and PhD research opportunities, amongst others.

The National University of Singapore's School of Computing (NUS Computing) and Vietnam-based tech corporation FPT partnered to invest US$50m in enhancing research and development of AI solutions.

The partners will also create an AI Lab focusing on research in machine learning, data analytics, natural language processing, and computer vision.

NUS Computing and FPT will also explore the commercialisation of AI-driven solutions, including the joint development of AI products, services, and platforms for global markets.

In addition, they will conduct joint programmes, including internships, workshops, training courses, and PhD research opportunities to nurture AI talents.
