Quantum investor QAI Ventures sets up APAC HQ in Singapore
It has also partnered with EnterpriseSG to drive venture-building locally.
QAI Ventures, a global investor and ecosystem builder in quantum technology and advanced computing, has set up its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore.
The new office will be led by Thomas Landis as managing director.
The firm is working with Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) to bring venture-building activities to the country.
The collaboration ties into Singapore’s existing strengths in quantum research, intellectual property protections, and its National Quantum Strategy, which is backed by nearly $300m in public funding.
In Singapore, it plans to roll out two flagship initiatives with EnterpriseSG: a five-month QuantumAI Accelerator Program and a venture-building initiative.
QAI Ventures’ portfolio currently spans 27 companies across Europe and North America.
