
Shields up: Singapore amongst top 10 targeted countries for cloud threats
This comes from a survey conducted by McAfee.
According to McAfee Enterprise, Singapore ranked high when asked about cloud incidents.
Included in the survey were 10 countries, namely, United States, India, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Great Britain, Singapore and Germany.
Findings of the survey point to financial services making up 50% of the top 10 cloud incidents. This was followed by healthcare, manufacturing, retail and professional services.
Jonathan Tan, Managing Director of Asia, Mcafee Enterprise, said that this was a sign to stay resilient despite the ongoing environment.
“Businesses need to ensure they are setting up the right cybersecurity infrastructure to stay resilient against the ever-growing number of supply chain risks and backchannel threats targeting a scattered workforce.”
Ransomware was also seen as having a vibrant quarter, following the Colonial Pipeline Attack.
