Going somewhere? ComfortDelGro Taxi rides offered on Lazada

Lazada customers can now book ComfortDelGro taxi rides without exiting the ecommerce app.

Singapore customers can do more than just shop on the Lazada ecommerce app, they can book taxi rides too.

ComfortDelGro and Lazada announced a recent partnership that would allow shoppers to book taxis on Lazada's app.

This would allow ComfortDelGro to expand its reach to Lazada's customer base, particularly the younger shoppers on the platform.

"It has always been our aim to have our taxi booking services within reach of shoppers. What better way to do it than to have our booking services readily accessible through the Lazada app, one of the most popular platforms today. We hope that shoppers will find the experience – from shopping to travelling – a seamless one," said ComfortDelGro Taxi CEO Ang Wei Ning in a statement.

Lazada is currently the only shopping app that has taxi-booking services in Singapore.

For the next six months, Lazada shoppers would get 4% off ComfortDelGro taxi bookings done on their app.
