An 80% increase in business cardholders visiting Singapore was recorded during the Grand Prix race week, according to a new report by VISA.

The overall spending by these cardholders saw a 170% increase during the period compared to the weekly average of the preceding 52 weeks.

Key sectors that saw an uplift in spending include restaurants, lodging, apparel, retail goods, and miscellaneous goods, respectively.
