AEM narrows net loss by 39.5% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to $0.9m in Q3 2024 from $1.5m in Q2 2024.
Revenue for the period dropped 6.5% QoQ to $74.2m from $79.3m in the previous quarter.
In addition, revenue from the Test Cell Solutions (TCS) segment, which accounts for 46.7% of the total Q3 revenue, declined 16,6% QoQ to $34.7m primarily due to reduced engineering services rendered for a key customer in the quarter.
Meanwhile, revenue from the Contract Manufacturing (CM) segment, which makes up 50.8% of the total Q3 revenue, rose 5.3% QoQ to $37.7m due to an improved inventory situation within the industrial customers and the resultant increase in demand.
Moving forward, AEM seeks to invest in differentiated test capabilities tailored for AI / HPC applications, including thermal management, application-specific test instruments, and high-throughput automation.
