Market Update: STI up 1.33%

Keppel DC REIT saw the sharpest decline during Wednesday's trading, with a 0.80% drop.

The Straits Times Index ended 40.97 or 1.33% higher at 3,130.46 at the close of trading on Wednesday, June 30.

Among the top active stocks were UOL which grew 2.53%, OCBC Bank which grew 2.22%, and DBS which grew 2.16%.

Included in the bottom performers were Mapletree Industrial Trust which fell 0.70% and Jardine C&C which fell 0.28%.

According to local news, investors showed the best half-year performance since 2017.

The FTSE 100 Index ended 50.08 or 0.71% lower at 7,037.47, whilst the NYSE Composite Index ended 7.78 or 0.05% higher at 16,555.35 at the close of trading on Wednesday.
