SGX adds 3 Mainboard issue managers and 2 Catalist sponsors
One of the issue managers targets real estate firms in Tier 1 and 2 cities in China.
Singapore Exchange (SGX) assigned new issue managers for Mainboard listings and sponsors for Catalist.
According to an announcement, CEL Impetus Corporate Finance, ICBC Singapore, and Novus Corporate Finance have been assigned as accredited issue managers for Mainboard listings. They will advise companies looking to list on the SGX Mainboard in terms of their suitability and ability to comply with the initial and continuing listing requirements.
Novus Corporate Finance was also assigned as an authorised Catalist full sponsor along with RHB Securities Singapore. They can conduct introductory activities in connection with preparing a listing applicant for admission to Catalist or advising an issuer on reverse takeovers.

A full sponsor also supervises and advises issuers on compliance with continuing listing obligations as well as other legal requirements post-listing, SGX added.
Moreover, ICBC Singapore will continue to work closely with SGX to promote Singapore’s capital markets to Chinese businesses, said ICBC Singapore deputy general manager Geng Hao.
“Our initial focus will be on the real estate developers and property owners in Tier 1 and 2 cities in China as potential listing candidates for REITs,” he said.
“We will also zoom in on sectors such as healthcare, consumer and technology for non-REITs/BT IPOs. Another area of our business focus will be corporate finance advisory services, which include follow-on fund raisings, reverse takeovers, M&A advisory services, private equity and pre-IPO fund raisings,” Hao added.
