SGX posts declining trend in average traded shares: RHB

It recorded two successive yearly and quarterly declines in SDAV.

The bourse’s securities daily average value (SDAV) is on a declining trend as of October 2022, posting two successive quarterly and annual decreases, RHB said.

In a brokerage report, RHB analysts said the bourse’s SDAV also posted eight consecutive months of either flat or year-on-year negative growth in SDAV.

On the back of an ongoing increase in interest rates, RHB raised its treasury income estimates for fiscal year 2023 to 2025.

It maintained its neutral call for SGX with a new target price, growing to $9.30 from $9.30.
