Singapore tops South East Asia ECM volume with US$10.5bln

SE Asia ECM volume increased 60% to US$35.2bln via 246 deals in 2010.

Dealogic said that the IPO volume reached a record of US$16.6bln in 2010 and accounted for 47% of SE Asia ECM volume.

Asia Pacific ex Japan ECM volume of US$328.9bn in 2010 was up 42% compared with US$231.7bln in 2009. IPO volume of US$165.9bln was the highest annual volume on record as a number of jumbo IPOs priced throughout the year.
