Ascott Real Estate Investment Trust (Ascott REIT) has completed the acquisition of its fourth student accommodation property in the US.
The property acquired is located in Kent, Ohio.
The aggregate purchase consideration for the Kent Property was $39.5 m (US$28.9m).
On 27 December 2021, the REIT announced the purchase of four student accommodation properties in the US.
The acquisitions of the other three properties located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Wilmington, North Carolina, and Raleigh, North Carolina were completed on 31 December 2021.
