Condo rental volumes jump 6.3% YoY to 6,708 in January

Month on month, it climbed by 11.7%.

Singapore condominium rental volumes rose 11.7% month on month (MoM) in January 2026 to an estimated 6,708 units, compared with 6,006 units in December 2025, according to a 99-SRX report.

Year on year (YoY), rental volumes were 6.3% higher and stood 0.6% below the five-year average for January.

Outside Central Region (OCR) accounted for 38.3% of total rental transactions in January, followed by Rest of Central Region (RCR) at 32.6% and Core Central Region (CCR) at 29.2%.

Overall condo rental prices increased 0.6% MoM. Prices rose 0.4% in CCR and 0.9% in OCR, whilst the RCR remained stable compared to December 2025.

On a YoY basis, overall rental prices increased 2.5%, with CCR up 3.2%, RCR rising 1.7%, and OCR gaining 2.2%.

The condo rental index stood at 144.8 in January 2026, up from 144.0 in December 2025, based on an index with January 2015 set at 100.
