H1 2025 GLS Programme to supply 8,505 private residential units
The units will be spread across various locations to cater to owner-occupation and rental demand.
The private housing supply from the H1 2025 Government Land Sales (GLS) programme is expected to yield a total of 8,505 units, a 4.5% increase from 8,140 units in 2H 2024.
The Confirmed List under the 1H 2025 GLS Programme includes nine private residential sites including 980 executive condominium (EC) units and one commercial-residential site.
This can collectively yield about 5,030 private residential units and 43,000 sq m of gross floor area (gfa) for commercial space.
Meanwhile, the Reserve List includes four private residential sites, one commercial site, three White sites, and one hotel site, potentially yielding 3,475 private residential units, 199,900 sq m of gfa for commercial space, and 530 hotel rooms.
The government stated that the supply will be distributed across various locations for the development of conventional private residential units and Long-stay Serviced Apartments, to meet both owner-occupation and rental housing demand.
