You won't believe how much condo resale prices have dropped

Prices hit 16-month low.

According to SRX, overall resale prices of non-landed private homes slipped by 1.7% in April. This level is a 16-month low since December 2012.

An estimated 476 resale transactions were registered in the month of April, up 24.6% month-on-month. It was the highest resale volume since Oct 2013. On a year-on-year basis, resale volume still posted a 26.7% drop compared to 649 units resold in the same month of last year.

On a regional basis, prices in Rest of Central Region (RCR) led the fall by dropping 3.6%, followed by a 2.3% drop in Core Central Region (CCR). However, prices in Outside Central Region (OCR) inched up by 0.4%.
