ShopBack to roll out 3 new in-app features

Customers can enjoy these features during the company's ShopFest promotion.

Rewards and discovery platform ShopBack is introducing three new in-app features during this year’s ShopFest, the company confirmed in a press release. The features are targeted at conservative shoppers and will be available across nine of its markets, the press release added.

A recent report by Facebook and Bain & Company has unveiled that there has been a shift to value-for-money purchasing across Southeast Asia, with over 57% of the survey respondents citing ‘value’ among their top purchasing drivers. Addressing this new trend, ShopBack has added the new features targeted at this growing segment of conservative shoppers who seek out more ways to maximise their savings.

The company confirmed that their users can enjoy discounts and cashbacks when they purchase vouchers from their merchant partners. They also said that a product comparison feature and challenges feature has been launched to provide better insights and opportunities.

Scheduled for September through December, this year’s arrangement is going to mark the third initiative of ShopFest.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
