StarHub TV unveils GoShop channel

It will be broadcast on a 24-hour format.

As people in Singapore welcome the festive season with shopping sprees, StarHub TV launched 24-hour shopping channel GoShop in partnership with Astro Malaysia.

Go Shop, a Mandarin shopping channel, will be on Channel 110. It will be available on StarHub Go, the telco's streaming service, by early next year.

StarHub TV head of content Lee Soo Hui said Go Shop will introduce special offers on TV through innovative bundling.

“Shopping is a favourite pastime of Singaporeans, whether it is online or at the mall. Go Shop’s extensive catalogue, accompanied with detailed product demonstrations, will enable our viewers to make informed decisions before making that purchase from the comfort of their living rooms," Lee noted.

To make purchases on Go Shop, customers have to log on the shop's website. Payment can be made via selected credit or debit cards. The products will then be delivered to the customer within two to three days with no additional shipping fee.
