COSCO confirms carrier delivery to Europe

The Singapore-based shipping company announces on Thursday that it has delivered “Chang Shan Hai” and one unit of tender support jack-up rig.

COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited's affiliates COSCO (Dalian) and COSCO (Nantong) signed the delivery documents with the European buyers on 29 June 2010.

The 57,000 dwt bulk carrier delivered by COSCO (Dalian) is 18 meters high,
32.26 meters wide, and 189.99 meters long. The jack-up rig delivered by COSCO (Nantong) measures 7.62 meters high, 55.78 meters wide and 73.15 meters long. With an operating capability at a water-depth of 91.44 meters, the jack-up rig is able to provide supporting services to offshore drilling rigs and other marine engineering facilities.
