StarHub CEO buys shares worth $518,000

Chief executive officer Tan Tong Hai bought shares as the price hit a six-month low of $2.56.

According to an SGX announcement, on 15 February 2018, Tan bought 200,000 shares for $2.59 each, translating to a total of $518,000.

On 15 February 2018, the share price of StarHub's stock fell to $2.56, the lowest since August 2017.

Singapore Business Review previously reported that Tan will be stepping down on 1 May as he is retiring.

The announcement said that the purchase raised Tan's interest in the company from 0.03% to 0.04%.
