StarHub achieves 99% coverage with its outdoor 5G network

The telecom player introduced its 5G services in Singapore in 2020.

StarHub’s outdoor 5G network has achieved over 99% coverage nearly four years after the telecommunications provider introduced such services.

Back in 2020, StarHub’s 5G service only had 50% of network coverage.

“5G brings up to ten times faster internet speeds, allowing customers to enjoy lag-free streaming, lightning-fast downloads, and low-latency cloud gaming while on the go,” StarHub said.

Talking about the milestone, StarHub Chief Executive Nikhil Eapean said the company will continue to provide Singaporeans with fast and reliable connectivity and an even greater network blanket.
