Logistics and supply chain GESCT rebrands to NEXST

NEXST aims to drive new business models and transformational technology in the industry.

Supply chain and logistics industry initiative Global Emerging Supply Chain Technologies (GESCT) has rebranded to Next Supply Chain (NEXST), according to an announcement. This is a part of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between global transport and logistics company Kuehne + Nagel,Temasek- backed venture capital firm Reefknot Investments, and SGInnovate, a private organisation backed by the Singapore government.

NEXST aims to identify and help drive new business models and transformational technology in the logistics and supply chain industry.

The three companies were joined in individual capacities by Wolfgang Lehmacher, former director and head of supply chain and transport industries at the World Economic Forum, and Kong Wai Wei, global supply chain director at Starbucks.

NEXST has recently launched its first quarterly whitepaper entitled “Supply Chain Digital Transformation: Enhancement of Supply Chain Visibility For the Post-COVID-19 World.” It has also welcomed publisher and event organiser Global Trade Review (GTR) as its latest member.

NEXST is looking to publish more industry white papers in the coming months following the launch of its first quarterly whitepaper entitled “Supply Chain Digital Transformation: Enhancement of Supply Chain Visibility For the Post-COVID-19 World.”
