CDG ENGIE expands charge points in SG, unveils new app
It also plans to roll out a new mobile app.
ComfortDelGro ENGIE (CDG ENGIE) has launched its 1,000th electric vehicle (EV) charge point at Block 333 Serangoon Avenue 3, marking its third anniversary in Singapore.
The company also launched an enhanced mobile app with features, such as trip planning, pay-per-charge options, charger availability notifications, and carbon emission tracking.
CDG ENGIE now provides EV charging services across 26 housing estates in Singapore and has expanded its network throughout Southeast Asia.
In addition, CDG ENGIE designed its new mobile app to enhance road trip planning by calculating necessary charging stops based on vehicle state-of-charge. The app extends full access to regional alliance charging stations in Malaysia and maintains a pay-per-charge model without requiring prepaid value.
The company is also testing automated charging, which would enable instant charging by linking a car’s ID with a CDG ENGIE account, removing the need for RFID cards or the mobile app.
