COE prices close higher in first half of April

Premiums in the open category leapt 17.58% to $48,209.

Certificate of entitlement (COE) premiums closed mostly higher in the latest bidding exercise, an announcement revealed.

Premiums for Category A cars (up to 1600cc and 97kW) closed 9.38% higher at $29,159 from $26,659 in the previous bidding exercise. Premiums for small cars, Category B cars (above 1600cc and 97kW) closed 9.39% higher at $43,102.

Premiums for goods vehicles and buses, Category C, marginally rose to $27,589, whilst premiums for motorcycles, Category D, grew to $3,501.

Meanwhile, COE prices for vehicles in Category E, open category, jumped 17.58% to $48,209.
