Frasers Property rolls out waste valorisation system in 5 of its malls

There is potential to upscale its implementation by 2025.

Frasers Property Singapore inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Life Lab Resources (LLR) to advance food waste management through the "WasteMaster food waste valorisation system."

Under the MoU, LLR, through its onsite food waste treatment plant developed by Green Eco Technologies, will convert food waste into nutrient-rich substrates using reactive oxygen technology.

LLR will then transform the substrates into a high-quality microbial protein that has the potential to be supplied to feed formulation companies to be converted into aquaculture feed.

This initiative will cut down on waste sent to landfills, reduce the need for new natural resources to produce food and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.

Frasers Property Singapore will roll out the WasteMaster food waste valorisation system to five malls: Causeway Point, Waterway Point, Northpoint City, Century Square, and Tampines 1.

There is potential to upscale the system's implementation by 2025.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
