SBF launches roadmap to enhance trade association capabilities
It outlines nearly 20 new initiatives to be rolled out in the next three years.
The Singapore Business Federation (SBF) unveiled a multi-year roadmap to enhance the capabilities of Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs).
The Sector Transformation Map (STM) focuses on strengthening the sector's value proposition, improving governance standards, and boosting human capital development.
Developed with input from over 40 TACs and supported by Enterprise Singapore, the STM outlines nearly 20 new initiatives across four key strategies: Sector Value Proposition, Human Capital, Operational Excellence, and Governance & Risks.
These initiatives, which will be rolled out over the next three years, aim to bolster TACs’ capacities and capabilities to better support businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, as they transform and grow.
Additionally, the SBF-SID Leadership Programme for TAC Councils, launched in collaboration with the Singapore Institute of Directors, will provide board members and Heads of Secretariats with the necessary knowledge and skills in governance and TAC leadership.
