SIIC Environment reports a 22.6% YoY decline in net profit attributable to shareholders

The company's earnings per share also declined by 22.6% YoY.

SIIC Environment Holdings reported a 22.6% YoY decline in net profit attributable to shareholders for FY23, to reach RMB604m ($115m). 

The company's revenue also fell in FY23, declining 8.8% YoY to RMB7.573b ($1.443m). 

Meanwhile, net profit for FY23 decreased by 9.1% YoY due to a rise in financing costs amounting to RMB119m ($22.7m). 

With lower profit, the company's earnings per share fell 22.6% YoY to RMB0.2345 ($0.045).

The group proposed a final dividend of $0.006 per ordinary share, subject to approval at the upcoming annual general meeting.
