Metax Engineering appoints Tan Hwa Peng as Director
Mr Tan is also Chairman of Remuneration Committee and Member of Audit Committee and Nominating Committee.
Metax Engineering annonced the appointment of Tan Hwa Peng as an Independent Director to take the place of Mr Basmadjian Krikor who would be resigning with effect from 21 February 2012. The Nominating Committee had considered two candidates and was of the view that Mr Tan, with his experience in the area of project management and engineering, would complement the skills and expertise of the existing members of the Board. The Board had appointed Mr Tan Hwa Peng based on the Nominating Committee’s recommendation, according to a Metax Engineering report.
In the past he was Executive Director of the Koh Brothers Group, in-charge of the construction arm, Koh Brothers Building and Civil Engineering Construction Pte Ltd.
