EMS Energy names Lim Beng Hwee Gavin as General Manager

Gavin brings with him years of experience in the marine and offshore industry.

The appointment of Mr. Gavin Lim was nominated by the CEO of EMS Energy Ltd. The Board of Directors has accepted the recommendation based on Mr. Lim’s qualifications and experience and approved the appointment of Mr. Lim as Executive Officer of the Group.

He graduated from Nanyang Technological University in 2003 with a Bachelor (Honors) Degree in Mechanical & Production Engineering.

Prior to joining the group, Gavin was the Director of Sales at Cargotec CHS Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, a multi-national company listed in Helsinki. While at Cargotec since 2006, he rose through the ranks from sales engineer to sales director, where he led the global sales team in the offshore business segment unit.

From 2003 to 2006, he was an Engineer in Federal Hardware Engineering Pte Ltd responsible for procurement of oil and gas turnkey project, as well as a Project Engineer in LSP Consultants Pte Ltd performing design and survey work for marine and offshore vessels.
