ST Aerospace bags Gulf Air component deal

It secured a contract for aircraft component support.

ST Aerospace, ST Engineering’s aerospace arm, bagged a 15-year contract for Boeing 787 aircraft component support by Gulf Air.

Gulf Air is the national carrier of Bahrain.

According to a press release, ST Aerospace will provide extensive component maintenance support covering component exchange, repair, overhaul, modification, reliability monitoring, logistics service for Gulf Air’s new fleet.

"We are happy to play a role in Gulf Air's fleet renewal plan, which will see its fleet of 787-9 expanding to 10 aircraft in the coming years,” said ST Aerospace president Lim Serh Ghee.
